A few years ago my friends Mathy and Fran gave me the opportunity to shoot stills on their short film, Elsewhere. It was a great experience, they gave me the freedom and time to shoot whatever I wanted. The cast was made up of two young actors who have gone on to big things, first on the stage and now in television and film. Jessica Raine, is the lead in Call the Midwife, a new series on BBC1. Aneurin Barnard will be playing David Bailey in a one off drama on BBC Four in a few weeks. Coincidently Bailey received an honorary degree when I graduated from university.
