Last night I attended the cast and crew screening of Elsewhere, a short film by my friends Mathy Tremewan and Fran Broadhurst. They asked me to shoot stills during the three day shoot in early March. This (along with the previous 12 months of scriptwriting, financing, editing, researching, casting, designing etc) has culminated in a 12 minute gem of a film.
It tells the story of Cath (Jessica Raine) and Nick (Aneurin Barnard), young lovers on the run through the fringes of London. It is beautifully shot by Xavi Amoros and with its great modern soundtrack with the likes of Kurt Vile, Lucky Dragons and High Places, hopefully the film will be doing the festival rounds and be available to view online at some point. I also created a small bookwork which will be used as promotional material. The cast and crew were a given a copy of the bookwork and the mix tape that features in the film. It was a great project to work on and look forward to seeing Mathy and Fran, the cast and crew going onto great things.
